The annual springtime community festival in Cheney, Washington is actually called Cheney Mayfest, taking place Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, 2026. This free community event celebrates the spring season in historic downtown Cheney with live entertainment, family activities, and local vendors.
Event Schedule
Friday: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM — Dance lessons and street dance featuring live music from the Kelly Hughes Band
Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM — Main festival throughout the downtown blocks
