About the Book:

It started on a dark and stormy night… a mission to bring the beauty and mystery of the Inland Northwest to readers, teaching them something unexpected about the greater Spokane area or presenting longstanding lore in new ways. In an anthology of twenty-three writers who bring the smell of the ponderosas, the creatures lurking in the shadows or at the bottom of a lake, the history that left its mark downtown, and even the grittier, grungier, perhaps overlooked parts of Spokane. Sometimes witty, sometimes lyrical, sometimes heartbreaking and tragic, we’ve tried to capture the INW experience to give to you, bound and ready to read aloud by the fire.

Dive into the eerie charm of *Spokane Campfire Stories* by Aimee Brooks, a captivating literary anthology from Banana Slug Books. This paperback collection brings together spooky tales and local legends, perfect for creating that authentic campfire atmosphere. Whether you're a fan of ghostly folklore or seeking a thrilling read, these stories are sure to leave a lasting impression.
